My mom lives in Paradise (aka. Florida). I had some of this Christmas colored palm tree fabric left over from another project, so we had a brilliant idea to make some little jewelry bags for all her fun friends. (and they are so fun….and totally cute!) I lined them with green velvet, and they are just big enough to hold a few pieces of jewelry or some Mah Jong tiles…since that’s one of their favorite games to play together on Friday afternoons.

They turned out just right and perfectly festive for the season! Maybe I can talk Mom into snapping a photo of the ladies with their bags.  We’ll see. Oh, and as predicted, my 4 year old little pirate requested one as well, for all his treasures.
