Retro PeaPod

Well, that’s what I like to call this fabric!  It’s really called “Blue Peapod - Modern Flora” and is a canvas weight Michael Miller print.  It was a dream to work with and I immediately fell in love with this line.

This project was a custom knitting tote for Jenn of BabyMACH (be sure to check out her shop ~ she’s one super creative gal and makes some awesome knit and painted items.)  Jenn was a dream to work with: she gave me some basic guidelines for needle slots and such, and then let me ‘have at it’.   What more could I have asked for?!!!  Woo Hoo!  She’s pretty ‘hip’ and I think this retro print really suits her.  Maybe I can get her to send me an action shot…we’ll see.

Next week, I will be stocking my main shop with a few knitting totes for the holiday gift giving season.   Look for matching Needle Rolls, too!  This leads me into my bag-a-day challenge for next week, but that’s another post entirely!  (coming soon!)

I love that “peapod” fabric! Jessica Jones designed this fabric for Michael Miller - have you seen some of her new stuff? So cute! Check it out at her blog - http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/.
