I received, in my Inbox this morning, a free downloadable pattern for a cute (and EASY) winter hat from Simplicity.  This is probably our first chilly weekend here in Arizona, and I think this pattern could be dolled up in many cute ways to wear this season!  I’m imagining all the baseball tournaments I’ll be sitting through in these next few cold months! So, I think I’m going to play around with it.

It’s only 3 pattern pieces, so it’ll go together easily, and it’s lined, I believe.  I can see it with fleece, corduroy, etc.. and some cute trims.  Can’t you?  And how about a matching scarf?  So, join me for a Sew Along this month and show me YOUR winter hat you make with this pattern!  Post it over on my Flick’r group when you are finished!  If you are going to join in on the sew-along, comment below before adding your picture to the pool!  Oh, and the time frame for this sew-along is by Nov. 30th.
